Ten Year Olds have Two Digits in their Ages
Our favorite book for girls about to turn 10 years old is Betsy-Tacy and Tib 
” Betsy, Tacy and Tib are nine years old and about to turn 10. This is important, Betsy tells Tacy, because ten year olds have two digits in their ages. These girls are such good friends that they vow not to mention the fact of the two digits until the last of the three has turned ten.
This is a wonderful read aloud for 9 year old girls.
